Our Mission Statement

At BTCF (Bless The Children Foundation (NGO) we aim to help children with special needs in Africa to become self-reliant and responsible people when they become adults. We make provisions to meet their basic needs -food, shelter, clothing, health, educational opportunities, counseling and many more. In a country like Liberia where the 14-year civil war had an enormous  devastation, we commit ourselves to help the children rebuild their hopes and self-esteem that have been damaged or lost. We  concentrate on community efforts, starting with providing food, constructing  needed shelters, teaching community awareness and providing health care that takes into account securing clean and safe drinking water for the community. We believe strongly that it takes a village to raise a child. With the community help and cooperation, we  will be able to work together in solving most of our major problems.  It all begins with helping the children who are our future and the bearers of our tradition and heritage. When we take care of our children, they will, in term, take care of our society and make it a better place to live.
